"Reports could of been way better"
I used Kahoot for work quizzes and the reporting is weak. The analytics was hard to read, some details are missing, and exporting results just feel clunky. Sometimes the scores didn’t line up the way I expect either. For what it cost, I really thought the reports will be better. It’s fun for quick quizzes, but not great if you needed proper tracking.
"Quick onboarding, just needed a bit more guidance"
The onboarding was quick and easy, so I don’t really have much to complain about. I just feel like a few extra tips along the way would’ve helped, especially for someone trying to get everything set up the right way from the start
"Fun, but could use more variety"
Kahoot is genuinely fun to use, especially with a group, but after a while the question formats start to feel a bit repetitive 🙂 I just wish there were more options or different quiz styles to keep things feeling fresh.
"Good for quizzes, but the slow loading is frustrating"
I like using Kahoot for quizzes, and when it works, it’s fun. But lately the loading has been really annoying. Sometimes it takes forever to open a game or get students joined, and a few of them end up stuck while everyone else is already in and waiting. It messes up the flow of class and makes the whole thing feel unreliable. I also kind of feel like this issue keeps getting brushed off, even though it’s a big deal when you’re trying to use it live with a group. I hope they fix it soon because the idea is great, but the slow loading is making it harder to count on.
"Fun for a quick activity, but not much real learning"
Kahoot is okay when I just want to break up the class with something quick and fun, but I don’t find it very useful as an actual learning tool. Most of my students end up guessing as fast as they can just to get points, so they’re not really slowing down to think through the answers. It gets loud, rushed, and then I usually have to go back and reteach the same material anyway. What’s frustrating too is that when it doesn’t really support learning, nobody seems to take ownership of that part. It’s treated like it’s automatically effective just because the kids are engaged. For me, it’s fine for a short break, but not something I’d rely on for real understanding.

"Clean, but a bit busy"
I haven’t used every part of it yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, the interface looks clean overall. There’s just a little more going on than I expected, so it can feel a bit busy at times.

"I like using Kahoot for class…"
I like using Kahoot for class games because it makes things way more fun, but oh my gosh, when a big group joins, it can start freezing or the answers take forever to load. Like, I’m just trying to click an answer, not survive a technological meltdown. It’s still usable and everyone usually has a good time, but it’s definitely not always smooth when there are tons of people playing.

"Freezes During Class Games"
It works okay most of the time, but it sometimes freezes right in the middle of class games, which gets frustrating. When it happens, I kind of feel like just another ticket number waiting for the issue to be fixed instead of someone actually trying to keep up with the activity...

"I had an issue with my Kahoot account…"
I had an issue with my Kahoot account and reached out to support. They did get back to me, but I don’t know why it took longer than I expected, and I ended up having to explain the same problem twice. They did fix it in the end, which I appreciated, but I just wish the replies had been a bit quicker and clearer.

"My kids actually stayed interested"
I had a good feeling about this right away, and it turned out to be true. The kids stayed engaged the whole time, which doesn’t always happen. It just seemed to click with them naturally, and they kept paying attention without me having to push them.

"Templates didn’t really save me much time"
I tried using Kahoot templates hoping they’d help me put something together faster, but most of them felt way too basic or not really built for what I needed. A few looked decent at first, but once I opened them, there just wasn’t much there, so I ended up rewriting almost everything anyway. It was also kind of unclear who actually owned or maintained some of these templates, which made it harder to know if they were reliable or worth using. Frustrating when you’re expecting a quick head start and still have to do all the work yourself.

"I’ve been able to manage my…"
I’ve been able to manage my plan without any issues, and overall the experience has been smooth. The only thing I’d improve is the renewal reminder, it could be a bit clearer so it’s easier to know exactly when everything is coming up. Other than that, I’m happy with it...

"Great for quick games, but I always preview first"
I was trying to put together a quick quiz activity and ended up browsing Kahoot because there were so many ready-made options. At first, it felt like a lifesaver, I found tons of quizzes on almost every topic. But once I started opening a few, I noticed some questions were outdated, and a couple felt a little random or not quite what I needed. Now I still use Kahoot when I want something fast and fun, but I always go through the quiz first before sharing it. It can save a lot of time, as long as you double-check everything.

"I used Kahoot quite a bit during remote…"
I used kahoot quite a bit during remote learning with my kids, and I also tried it for a few work training calls. it made the online sessions feel way less boring?? People actually seemed to pay attention more than they usually do, which was a nice surprise. Every now and then it would load a little slowly or someone had trouble joining, but most of the time it worked just fine. I also liked that it was easy to figure out without having to explain a bunch of steps. Is it perfect?? Not really, but it’s definitely helpful overall
"Kids liked it, setup was clunky"
The kids got into it more than I expected. That part was great. Setup though. A little clunky. Took some fiddling before everything felt right.

"Ended Up Paying for a Full Year"
I signed up thinking it was a monthly plan, but then I got charged for the entire year instead. It really wasn’t clear before checkout, and I had to waste way too much energy trying to figure out what happened. I reached out to support, but they weren’t very helpful, so the whole thing just felt frustrating and avoidable.

"Keeps Freezing and the Support Replies Feel Copy-Pasted"
I tried using Kahoot on my phone and it kept freezing right as the questions started, which made me lose points even though my internet was totally fine. Super frustrating when you’re trying to play and the app just decides to lock up. What makes it worse is getting those canned apology responses like “sorry for the inconvenience” without anything actually changing. the whole experience was more annoying than fun.

"There’s a lot I’d change. The menus are…"
There’s a lot I’d change. The menus are kind of confusing, like they were designed in a back room by people who didn’t want us finding anything too easily. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I kept feeling like the options were hidden on purpose. It works, but it could definitely be a lot more straightforward.

"I was just trying to put together…"
I was just trying to put together a basic quiz on Kahoot!, but the whole process ended up being irritating. The editor felt clunky, a few of my changes didn’t save properly, and it took way too long to find options that should’ve been obvious. What really got to me was that I kept being pushed toward paid features when all I wanted was to finish a simple quiz. It felt like such a basic thing I needed was being ignored, it made the experience disappointing.
"Pretty solid for my classes"
I’ve been using Kahoot with my classes and, it just feels reliable overall. Most of the time it works fine, and the students can jump in without too much trouble. Every now and then it gets a little slow when a bunch of them are joining at once, which is kind of annoying, but it doesn’t really crash on me. I don’t know, it just feels like one of those tools I can count on, and that matters a lot.
