"I would like help asap from Kahoot with an unrecognized payment."
I would like help asap from Kahoot with a billing issue. I am charged $36 every year for a subscription and was charged again this April for it. However, after looking through my banking, there was a charge for $204 in March!! I am beyond upset about this. I have no idea what it is for. It shows up in my banking and on my PayPal invoices and clearly states that the receiver of the payment is Kahoot. After searching on the Kahoot website for anything that costs $204, I found that there is a Kahoot! 360 membership that costs this; however, my subscription is Kahoot! Pro. I NEVER requested or authorized any payment for a Kahoot! 360 membership and would never be ok with spending $204 annually, as this is beyond my means for this website. Even $36 is a stretch! I am very upset about this and would like this sorted out immediately with a refund.

In response to the message below from Kahoot, I did this and am waiting for the response. I will update this review again if things are resolved. However, I don’t give much leniency for any type of charge placed erroneously on my card - this is unacceptable. I do not think I should have to wait to hear back from Kahoot before writing this review because I am upset that the charge was placed period!! That puts me in a financial bind while waiting for a refund. 24 hours is not good enough when a mistake this big occurs. It should be immediate. This is sad as I have enjoyed Kahoot for years prior to this happening.

"Took the money and offered no service"
I paid for teacher annual plan and I cannot access any paid feature. They took my money for a full year and a few hours later they said in another email that my subscription was terminated. And there is no option on reactivating it. And their policy is to give no refunds. I didn’t use any paid feature at all, not even for a day.

"Being more than 10 players costs a ton…"
Being more than 10 players costs a ton of money and is unable to be bought from the main store page.
Ended up buying their kahoot+ pass, which I thought helped. That only gives me access to the most useless kahoots made by other people.

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY do you not do monthly billing, I dont know about anyone else but I have 180 students, I love Kahoot but I cant afford to pay 140-200NZD up front like that and you have now clamped severley down on the odd going over basic plan numbers

Its pretty good with an easy way to create questions. Plus, you can choose avatars and nicknames for fun. I think its a cool ad-on to the classroom in high school and middle school.

"Lost Features With NO Help"
I lost access to the main reporting feature I paid the upgrade for, which is still active until November, 2023. No one is willing to actually look into it and I clearly should still have access. For a teacher paying out of pocket, I'm disgusted. Emails have gone back and forth with different responses and no one willing to help or refund. Literally dishonest customer service. Company seems money hungry for upgrades one has already paid for.

"Great customer service from support desk"
After initial experience with unexpected hike in subscription, I was contacted by the Kahoot! support desk and I have to say they were very responsive and resolved my concerns very quickly. Very happy with the outcome and appreciative of the excellent customer service. Have learned that it is probably best to email support directly for a quick response.

Worst customer service. There are no replies to support requests and they are trying to charge me 240$ for an account I do not have access to and are not willing to help me cancel my subscription.

"Betrayal of Trust"
I am a public high school science teacher in Rural New Mexico
I have created nearly 100 kahoot quizzes that, until recently, I allowed for public use. These include Quizzes in Astronomy, Biology and General Science. Each Kahoot quiz is tailored to the "Next Generation Science Standards" (NGSS)
Recently, KAHOOT altered my Kahoots to change a plain white background to a hideous preschool background complete with pastel penguins. In order to restore my Kahoots to their original format I am required to buy the original plain white background for $75. It comes with other pointless features.
This is pure and simple extortion.

" Nice Kahoots you got there... be a shame if something happened to them.."

I have so much time invested I have little choice but to succumb to this blackmail. I fear now that the KAHOOT team will continue to modify my kahoots without consent, and charge me AGAIN to restore them to their original state.

"This is the worst experience ever"
This is the worst experience ever, like a nightmare. I did one virtual event on december 2021, and I explained to Hannah Herey that it was going to be only one event, she recommended to buy a plan.
Then on the 10th of december 2022 they charged USD$708 (14 thousand pesos), I don´t have that kind of money. I already wrote to customer service asking for a refund, they say it is an annual subscription. Which of ocourse I never agree to.

I am not going to use the service, I need my refund. Why do you want to charge for something that i don´t need, I am not going to use. This is robbery....

At this point it's theft.
Kahoot! - to put it plainly, your customer service sucks. I tried to create a free account, which did not work. Then I created a basic account for $129/year, and that STILL did not give me the access to create a small trivia presentation for my small team, and then I upgraded AGAIN to what should allow me to host for 20 people, and STILL I am not able to host. I have submitted a ticket, followed up on it, reached out to sales, sent LinkedIn messages to their "customer service team" and have even @'d them on TikTok. This company clearly does not care about it's clients or the people using it's product - just their pocketbooks. Please have someone reach out to me immediately to get this resolved. And a suggestion - if you're asking for more than a $100 investment from users, you should offer a live help option and not a crappy robotic chat that doesn't help at all. Please fix this and fix it now.

Way too expensive. You have to pay €47.49 per month to get all the functionalities, like open-ended questions. That is an extreme amount of money for personal use!

"seemingly no customer support"
the app is great but the customer service sucks - especially if you are a company and need an invoice or pay by invoice or something similar, it is difficult to get in touch with them.
no phone number
the chat bot just goes round and round with no solution
no replies to emails.

a bit frustrating if you ask me.

I set up a free trial with kahoot. My company is using Kahoot! for some holiday kick off games. I canceled thE SUBSCRIPTION I just got charged $246.09USD. I have filled a complaint form and sent it but no one has reached out to me. It’s really frustrating that there is no customer care phone number to call. I truly cannot afford this! If II COULD SUE, I WOULD!!!
